Da ich ja seit einiger Zeit einen Plattenspieler besitze und nebenbei auch sehr gerne Last.fm verwende fehlte mir eine Möglichkeit die von Vinyl gespielte Musik in meine Musikstatistik einfließen zu lassen – hier kommt CogScrobbler ins Spiel – dieses kleine aber feine Tool ermöglicht es gehörte Schallplatten bzw. Tapes per Hand nachzuscrobbeln – bisher allerdings nur unter Linux und Windows. Da mein Hauptsystem seit einem guten Jahr nun OS X ist fehlte mir diese Möglichkeit hier bisher – bis ich mir jetzt einmal die Sourcen geschnappt habe und das Programm unter OS X kompiliert habe – dank QT nahezu ohne Probleme.
I’m a proud owner of an old turntable since a few month now – but I”m missing the possibility to scrobble listened songs to last.fm. a few weeks ago i found CogScrobbler as solution – a small tool which allows to scrobble vinyls and tapes after listening. Since there was yet no version for OS X i’d to compile it myself which worked like a charm because CogScrobbler is based on QT.
Damit ich jetzt nicht der einzige bin der unter meinem Lieblingsbetriebssystem Vinyl scrobbeln kann gibt es jetzt hier Revision 174 zum Download – allerdings ohne Garantie und auf eigene Gefahr
